Described as an area where time stood still, Douglas Manor is situated in the northeast corner of Douglaston. Along the Manor’s waterfront is a marina, baseball fields and basketball courts, and a town dock, all owned by Manor residents.

Classic homes, including Tudors, Colonials and Country Cottages line the hilly streets of the Manor. The area is also known for its historical society and civic groups, notably the Douglaston Civic Association and the Douglas Manor Association.
